Four women drive. Destination? Wherever. Between them exist multiple dynamics: a birthmother to a daughter, a mother-in-law to a daughter-in-law, and two pairs of acquaintances connected by once-lovers. And yet, despite this painted snapshot, these women will never be able to laugh, sing, or sleep to the sound of rubber on pavement; never will this adventure exist outside of grief-borne fiction.
